Financial Support
Financial support to attend CCP2018 will be considered as the organizers raise funds for supporting those with need who the organizers judge would benefit the most from the conference and who could not otherwise attend CCP2018. Priority will be given to those attendees from developing countries as defined in the World Bank’s list of "low income" and "lower middle income" economies. Priority will also be given to graduate students and postdocs.
Most approved requests for financial support will provide complementary registration and, possibly, local living support. Housing will be in the local dormitories, with meals (see Accommodations for details).
Due to limitations of funding, transportation expenses will, in general, not be covered for most financial aid recipients. If transportation expenses are approved, they will be reimbursed after the conference. Transportation cost reimbursements will be limited up to 500 USD – it will be necessary in most cases to obtain additional transportation funds.
Requests for financial support should be sent to with the words "CCP2018 request for financial support" on the subject line and should include the following information:
- An abstract number of your submitted abstract (to submit an abstract for the conference click here).
- Description of other financial support you can obtain to complement the CCP2018 support.
- If you are a student or postdoc, provide a letter of support from your academic advisor/mentor.
- Include a copy of your CV.
